Frequently asked questions

Your portrait sitting should be relaxed, comfortable and FUN!  To help us all with this, here are a few of those more common questions.

Q: What should we wear?

A: Anything you like that is comfortable, try not to clash with each other and avoid strong patterns or logos.

Q: Should we bring anything with us?

A: It is sometimes nice to bring a special item (toy, instrument, clothing) that might add something special to some of your images, so if you want to, please do!

Q: How long does the session last?

A: Usually 30-45 minutes, this is sometimes dictated by the little ones and how long they want to play for.  We make sure that we work very quickly so that if we only have a small window of opportunity, we still capture plenty of images.

Q: How much do the photos cost?

A: This depends on the size that you would like, our prices start at £30 for a mounted 7x5" photo and go up to several hundred for large multi image wall prints.  You will be given a pricelist when you come for your sitting.

Q: Can you take some pictures of us individually as well as the family?

A: Yes, we will take as many combinations as you would like and time permits.

Q: Do you do black and white or sepia?

A: We will show your images at our viewing session in a variety of styles, you are free to decide how you want your final choices to be printed, colour, sepia, black and white or anything in between if you wish!
